Job Summary:

The Specialist Regulatory Affairs is responsible for ensuring that the assigned Brand products meet and follow all regulatory requirements necessary to conduct business globally. This role will work on Shiseido and Cle De Peau Beaute brands.                      

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Gathering, generating and managing technical information including formula, raw material, specification, stability data, safety test report, efficacy test report, SDS, artworks, packaging material, ingredient listing, alcohol permit, etc.                                                                                     
  • Assisting in gathering, organizing, and delivering Regulatory information to product development, marketing, R&D, QA, manufacturing, contract manufacturer, and outside laboratories.                                                                                    
  • Submitting necessary governmental registration forms/surveys as required on a timely basis, including US MoCRA notification, CA Safe Cosmetic Act notification, Canada Cosmetic Notification, CARB VOC survey, Canada CEPA survey.
  • Ensuring outgoing Regulatory information and artwork for accuracy
  • Acting as liaison between internal and external personnel at each stage of Regulatory compliance
  • Provide detailed monthly reports

  • Cross-Functional internal departments

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • BS or BA Chemistry or related field
  • 5+ years experience in global cosmetic company with OTC regulatory experience                       
  • Must have excellent computer skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills      
  • Web and internet savvy; navigate through web to retrieve information
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, able to multi-task, strong organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • Experience in cosmetic/personal care, a plus
