Job Summary:
Manage the creation and timely execution of an achievable, efficient production schedule for the factory and suppliers (domestic and International) in support of Shiseido Americas business objectives while maintaining lowest possible inventory levels and agreed upon service levels. This role will be supporting the brand: Dr. Dennis Gross.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create a DRP plan for their portfolio to balance service and inventory.
- Accountable for maintaining and managing master data required for finished good planning and production.
- Implements and maintains inventory strategies for finished goods by regular review and optimization of supply planning parameters (Ex. Reorder points, safety stock, ABC categorization, MOQ)
- Optimizing the balance of inventory across the supply chain network in line with target customer service levels, inventory, and safety stock levels for an allocated portfolio of SKUs for which accountable.
- Own daily service management for their portfolio, conduct RCA analyses to develop action plans for continuous improvement, and collaborate on RCCP with factories and CMs.
- Conduct regular business and performance reviews related to demand and supply of low stock SKUs with internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate and communicate with Transportation and the DC to expedite supply if needed.
- Manage the potential obsolescence to minimize inventory liabilities and drive Root Cause Problem Solving and action planning/execution to reduce E&O.
- Measure supply planning KPIs in an effort to improve and/or maintain business objectives as it pertains to the S&OP organization.

Qualifications & Competencies:
- 4 year academic degree in relevant field or related job experience
- Minimum of 2-4 years of planning experience in a supply chain role, ideally in a manufacturing or supplier environment in consumer goods industry.
- Competent user of computerized IT systems – Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other associated scheduling, forecasting software packages.
- 1-3 years of experience working within an ERP/MRP environment at an advanced level. JDE and ASCP experience a plus.
- Prefer APICS exposure and CPIM certification.
- Thorough working knowledge of DRP and MPS processes in a Manufacturing or TPM environment.
- Understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain Functions and Linkage.
