The Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare team is focused on making a difference in the lives of people by delivering science-based skincare with humanity. We call it skincare with a soul. Dr. Dennis Gross’ philosophy and approach to skincare and his professional experience as a cancer researcher, practicing dermatologist and formula innovator cascade in every aspect of the brand. We formulate with proven active ingredients and state-of-the-art delivery systems that allow you to bring the clinic home in easy-to-use at-home treatments. In our New York office, we are inspired daily by teamwork, creativity and creating a space where everyone is valued. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

  • In partnership with the Director, lead and manage 3-year innovation calendar and product marketing strategy including product architecture, product positioning and pricing to meet the needs from the global consumer
  • Oversee key brand franchises, including DermInfusions, Alpha Beta, SPF, and Advanced Retinol + Ferulic
  • Partner with Product Development to optimize new launch positioning and key messaging
  • Collaborate with teams (Creative, PR, digital, education, etc.) on 360 campaign process for all markets to ensure all touch points reflect global brand messaging consistently and accurately
  • Partner with Creative on 360 asset menus and shot lists that synch up with briefs to ensure global markets’ needs align with brand strategy & objectives – ensure photography shots/videos/gifs are executed based on global marketing campaign needs; attend photo shoots as needed
  • Prepare and submit NPD Product briefs with alignment from senior management
  • Manage Creative briefing for campaign-related assets, ensuring deliverables are aligned with brand objectives; ensure all briefs are executed and delivered for all cross-functional teams
  • Partner with Creative on 360 asset menus and shot lists that synch up with briefs to ensure global markets’ needs align with brand strategy & objectives – ensure photography shots/videos/gifs are executed based on global marketing campaign needs; attend photo shoots as needed
  • Help manage product & campaign dossiers that feed to trade, PR, influencers, field, etc.; and use to communicate messaging/marketing updates with copy that aligns with brand values and tone of voice
  • Create and manage new launch dossiers ensuring consistent and accurate brand message that feeds to trade, PR, influencers, field, etc.; maintain product dossiers to communicate updates to organization
  • Collaborate with internal and external creative partners to develop impactful and visually compelling campaigns while upholding the brand identity
  • Track campaign performance, analyze results, and adjust strategies to achieve KPIs and business objectives
  • Present strategic pricing recommendations, based on competitive pricing analysis and COGs targets
  • Ensure all products and launch assets (including seasonal) are delivered on-time to align with marketing calendar and business objectives
  • Partner with Operations to determine new launch sizing, forecasting, and planning across all regions
  • Partner with US and International teams on local assortments, forecasting, line edits, pricing recommendations, and go-to-market strategy
  • Partner on artwork proofing and routing – new and existing, to ensure messaging is consistent across the board; be key liaison for artwork routing/proofing
  • Stay up to date with emerging consumer trends and needs in key markets globally
  • Partner with digital and social teams, be key marketing liaison for routing, proofing of all digital and social assets
  • Support the Director in creating key documents, including launch strategies, forecasting decks, and performance analyses

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 5+ years of experience in global beauty/skincare marketing, with a strong understanding of brand equity and product lifecycle management
  • Passionate about the beauty industry
  • Expertise in managing 360° global marketing campaigns and leading new product launches
  • Proficiency in packaging development, including artwork creation and rework processes
  • Strong understanding of global and regional market trends, including experience working with key markets like China
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional oral, written, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking skills, ability to structure and build presentations
  • Consumer focused mindset
  • Leadership qualities to motivate and drive peer teams and direct reports
  • Team player
  • Forward thinking, anticipate needs
  • Attention to details, ability to work independently, reliable
  • Must have excellent visual PowerPoint presentation aesthetic
  • Software expertise – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as components of a total compensation package, including participation in our bonus program which features the ability to overachieve, in addition to a full range of competitive benefits.
