We are seeking enthusiastic interns for the Shiseido Hajimari Summer Internship program, a paid, full-time, 9-week experience from June 2nd to August 1st. Based in our New Jersey and New York offices, this program offers hands-on exposure to the full product life-cycle, from Marketing to Manufacturing, along with impactful projects, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops. About our Shiseido Marketing Team:
Join a team of talented marketers, passionate about skincare. Our mission is to drive the Shiseido business in the US, by ideating and executing marketing strategies. We partner with many transversal teams (communication, sales ops, creative, visual merchandising, training, finance) to make sure our brand goals are met.
What You’ll Do:
- Competitive watching (with focus on Sun category): Monitor innovative sunscreen activations and launches, from product messaging to in-store merchandising to influencer content, and analyze what is working to help inform our spring 2026 sun launch planning.
- Amazon opportunity: Amazon is quickly becoming the biggest beauty retailer. Track competitive presence and performance across Amazon to identify opportunities for Shiseido to expand its content, product messaging, and placements across the platform.
- Ultimune launch: Shiseido’s hero product, Ultimune, is relaunching. Support the marketing team in tracking and monitoring its performance across retailers, including consumer sentiment/reviews, placements earned across retailer sites/social/in-store, event activations and sales success.
Requirements:
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized
- Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented
- Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment
- Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
