We are seeking enthusiastic interns for the Shiseido Hajimari Summer Internship program, a paid, full-time, 9-week experience from June 2nd to August 1st. Based in our New Jersey and New York offices, this program offers hands-on exposure to the full product life-cycle, from Marketing to Manufacturing, along with impactful projects, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops. About our Shiseido, Clé de Peau Beauté,Hermès, Tory Burch, Issey Miyake and Narciso Rodriguez Events Team:

The Events Team is focused on developing and implementing strategies to help the Shiseido, Clé de Peau Beauté, Hermès, Tory Burch, Issey Miyake and Narciso Rodriguez brands grow their businesses within the retail landscape. The Event Team Intern will have the opportunity to learn about how to strategize, ideate and implement these luxury eventing, and client edu-tainment plans within our retail partners environments

What You’ll Do:

  • Help the Events team track event goals and implement event strategies for Clé de Peau Beauté, Shiseido, Hermès, Issey Miyake and Narciso Rodriguez.
  • Help with project coordination, meeting preparation, and general team support as needed.
  • Coordinate shipping of samples, GWPs and eventing tools from the New York Office to the Sales and Training Executives.
  • Brainstorm new, creative eventing pitches and sales-building opportunities.
  • Support on-site tasks.
  • Report and analyze findings relating to eventing performance.
  • Attend team meetings, assist with departmental tasks.
  • Create and present a project to senior leadership generated around true business opportunity.

Requirements:

  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree.  
  • Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized. 
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented. 
  • Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment. 
  • Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends.
