We are seeking enthusiastic interns for the Shiseido Hajimari Summer Internship program, a paid, full-time, 9-week experience from June 2nd to August 1st. Based in our New Jersey and New York offices, this program offers hands-on exposure to the full product life-cycle, from Marketing to Manufacturing, along with impactful projects, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops. About our Digital Marketing and Media Team:
The Digital Media and Marketing at Shiseido Americas supports all brands in driving continued improvements and innovation in marketing and media effectiveness. This team ensures each brand is getting the most out of our external media agencies and partners, enables best practice sharing across brands and helps support building the digital media and marketing capability within each team.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead competitive analysis on key makeup or skincare competitors by providing a landscape overview of paid media activity, competitive assets, and overall presence in the market
- Create a detailed repository of historical brand campaigns, synthesizing spends and performance data by partner
- Assist in the development and preparation of comprehensive paid media spend reports
- Provide ad hoc support on daily basis for any media initiatives
- Participate in Agency Briefings, Plan presentations and Vendor meetings to stay abreast of Brands' media activity in order to support both Brand and Agency teams in maintaining a productive partnership and driving media effectiveness
Requirements:
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented
- Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment
- Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
