Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the Sales & Training Executive is primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives. They will build positive brand awareness with retail partners in assigned territories by executing Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare (DDG) retailer programs, launches, event strategy, and freelance management. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business drivers within each retailer. Exhibit exceptional service, selling, and training skills. Must be able to cope with change and shift gears comfortably in an ever-changing industry.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Exceed minimum sales expectations.
- Develop market strategy and call cycle scheduling in collaboration with RM to maximize retail sell through.
- Plan, schedule, and execute events in essential opportunity doors utilizing event strategy and assets to drive incremental retail sales and brand awareness.
- Identify and establish key relationships with Centers of Influence in each store that directly impact brand business.
- Quarterly comprehensive business review with elevated leadership to include RM.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a team of freelance to support events and business growth in partnership with the Regional Manager.
- Responsible for strategic management of freelance budgeting, scheduling, and productivity to drive incremental sales.
- Responsible and accountable for strategic T&E budget decisions and overall compliance.
- Ensure stores are properly merchandised for maximum visual exposure according to Merchandising guidelines and Retail plan-o-gram (POG).
- Strategic focus on raising brand rank and seeking out competitive information to gain market share in the territory.
- Provide appropriate feedback to RM and the Events and Education Team (Sr Manager and Managers) regarding the effectiveness of DDG strategies, training, selling tools, and products.
- Analyze and communicate stock concerns to the appropriate retail partner and RM to ensure accurate stock levels and avoid OOS.
- Maintain professionalism through open and positive communication with internal and external partners.
- Support, train, develop, and mentor a team of freelance staff on effective relationship-building and successful selling techniques.
- Sales leader focused on driving daily revenue in-store.

Qualifications & Competencies:
- 3-5 years equivalent experience in the Cosmetic/Aesthetic/Beauty industry.
- Passion for the Beauty Industry, Sales, and Clients.
- Proven ability to drive sales, meet/exceed goals, and provide excellent customer service.
- Demonstrate ability to assess, analyze, and identify business trends.
- Experienced in successful budget management.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, coach, and develop a team.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and knowledge to build positive business partnerships.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Able to work a flexible schedule (typical work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday), including weekends and holidays, to meet team objectives.
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills, including solid presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft™ Office programs and other analytical tools.
- Travel: up to 50% - Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Comfortable with different methods of travel, i.e., Car, Plane, Train, etc.
- Ability to lift <30 pounds and work in a fragranced environment on your feet for several hours a day (typical workday is 8 hours, 6-8 in-store).
