We are seeking enthusiastic interns for the Shiseido Hajimari Summer Internship program, a paid, full-time, 9-week experience from June 2nd to August 1st. Based in our New Jersey and New York offices, this program offers hands-on exposure to the full product life-cycle, from Marketing to Manufacturing, along with impactful projects, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops. About our Special Projects, Lean Six Sigma Team:

Our Lean Six Sigma Team focuses on improving quality and efficiency in Operations through waste elimination, standardization (reduction of process variation), and consistency. We are committed to attacking processes and engaging our value-adders and most important asset, our people.

What You’ll Do:

• You will be applying Lean Six Sigma principles towards the completion of a project (DMAIC approach).
• You will be mentored by the Lean Six Sigma team and will receive a milestones document that will be managed by you and reviewed with the department Director on a weekly basis.
• You will demonstrate your innovation and root cause analysis (RCA) approach to come up with solutions, test them and provide your proposals towards an improved practice.
• You will be exposed to several processes and real time operations challenges with wide opportunity to learn best business practices for your future.
• You will make our Lean Six Sigma area better!

Requirements:

• Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree  
• Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized 
• Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented 
• Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment 
• Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
