We are seeking enthusiastic interns for the Shiseido Hajimari Summer Internship program, a paid, full-time, 9-week experience from June 2nd to August 1st. Based in our New Jersey and New York offices, this program offers hands-on exposure to the full product life-cycle, from Marketing to Manufacturing, along with impactful projects, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops. About our Environmental Health, Safety, and Sustainability Team:

The Environmental Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) team at Shiseido Americas handles and works on creating and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace as well as reducing our impact on the environment. We have been focused on rebranding Safety by making it as fun and engaging as possible to excite our employees and build a best-in-class Safety Culture. Join our team!

What You’ll Do:

• Special Project:
  • Develop a robust EHS&S Training Program for a dynamic employee population to ensure consistency and competency in the site’s policies and procedures.
• Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Creating fun and engaging safety-related content (videos, web content, emails, etc.)
  • Identifying areas of opportunity for sustainability project to help Shiseido achieve their 2030 Sustainability Goals and Objectives

Requirements:

• Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree  
• Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented 
• Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment 
• Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
