The beauty of helping others
The Beauty of Helping Others is Shiseido Americas Employee Volunteerism and Corporate Giving Program. Launched in 2019 to encourage employees to take part in social contribution activities to make a meaningful impact in their communities, since then, the program has seen year-over-year increases in employee engagement. Through our incredible employee volunteers, The Beauty of Helping Others brings beauty, happiness and kindness to the people and communities who need it most because we believe every person deserves to be treated with respect.

Employee Volunteerism
On average, each year, The Beauty of Helping Others partners with 70+ non-profit organizations across the region. To date, Shiseido Americas employees have contributed over 25,000 volunteer hours. In 2024, nearly 80% of Shiseido Americas employees in the US, Canada and Latin America volunteered with The Beauty of Helping Others, a participation rate four times greater than the 23% average for CECP (Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose) member companies according to their 2024 Giving in Numbers annual report.

Camellia Week
A symbolic emblem in Japanese culture, the Camellia has been part of the company’s logo since 1915 as an established part of Shiseido’s identity and the company’s commitment to beauty. Each September, Shiseido Americas employees across the region, including the US, Canada and Latin America, partake in Camellia Week and participate in various coastal and waterway cleanup activities to help beautify local communities and raise awareness of environmental and marine conservation.
