Dr. Dennis Gross’ philosophy and approach to skincare and his professional experience as a cancer researcher, practicing dermatologist and formula innovator cascade in every aspect of the brand. We formulate with proven active ingredients and state-of-the-art delivery systems that allow you to bring the clinic home in easy-to-use at-home treatments. In our New York office, we are inspired daily by teamwork, creativity and creating a space where everyone is valued.
JOB SUMMARY
This role supports the growth of Dr. Dennis Gross, ensuring markets uphold the brand philosophy and standards. Partner with regional and local market teams to reinforce the global brand image and positioning, maintain strong brand equity and deliver outstanding business results. Maintain retailer partnerships: Sephora, MECCA, Cult Beauty, SpaceNK and others. Through strong partnership and clear communication, the Marketing Manager will help ensure that business priorities are met and that markets have what they need to drive the business with cohesive 360˚ marketing activations while following global brand guidelines. Reports into Director, International Marketing.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Relationship management and day-to-day point person within assigned markets
- Manage agenda for recurrent country and regional calls, follow up on action points following each meeting
- Define and track regional launch and activation level launch calendars; this includes working with retailers on best practices within dedicated budget
- Work with Director, International Marketing on 360 Go-To-Market launch plans and track timely delivery of assets, POSM, VM updates and Education content with Global alignment
- Execute regional strategies aligned with global priorities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to create locally tailored assets and content; brief Creative on VM, offline and online needs
- Identify region-specific marketing needs (special product formats, events, media assets, etc) and work with the Global marketing teams to deliver projects & assets needed
- Manage regional media plans and support Director, International Marketing and Integrated Global Communications team with media strategy and approval of markets’ media plans
- Conduct market performance analysis
- Share best practices, competitive insights with regional and global teams
- Collect feedback on launches, innovation plans and activations in effort to assess ROI on B&M and .com activity
- Perform online audits to ensure SKU assortment, pricing and PDP are in line with brand and best practices, by country, by retailer
- Manage sampling calendar and assigned budget for your markets
- Support Director, International Marketing on International Education in partnership with Global Education
- Assist in Presentation creation for new launches, retailer and Leadership presentations and monthly roundup on your assigned markets/retailers
- Work in tandem with Global Integrated Communications team to align on PR, Influencer and Social activity as part of 360 Marketing Plan
- Partner with International Commercial Team on analysis to understand sell-in and sell-thru objectives and results at country and door level
- Meet with US Marketing and Trade teams to gather best practices within US market in effort to see if applicable to International for Global consistency including pricing strategy
- Maintain International in-office assortment stock
- Place marketing no-cost orders, products for events, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
WHO YOU ARE
- College degree, 4+ years experience in beauty marketing
- Experience in working with European and Asian markets
- Knowledge of and curiosity for competitive marketplace, digital, and in-store environment. Sephora experience preferred.
- Time flexibility to participate in morning / evening calls with markets outside of regular EST business hours.
- Experience in working with different cultures - dynamic, flexible, collaborative, with a positive attitude
- Strong analytical mindset paired with creativity
- Attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, ability to manage cross-functional projects while responding to changing priorities and feedback.
- A passionate, energetic team-oriented individual with strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently, utilize sound judgment and come up with solutions.
- Software expertise: superb Excel skills a must (incl. pivot tables), PowerPoint (tasteful attention to formatting).

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as components of a total compensation package, including participation in our bonus program which features the ability to overachieve, in addition to a full range of competitive benefits.
