We are seeking enthusiastic interns for the Shiseido Hajimari Summer Internship program, a paid, full-time, 9-week experience from June 1^st to July 31^st. Based in our New Jersey and New York offices, this program offers hands-on exposure to the full product life-cycle, from Marketing to Manufacturing, along with impactful projects, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops. What You’ll Do:

• Support Specialty Product Development team in all aspects of developing products for launch  
• Conduct competitive and trend research to support collection ideation 
• Conduct competitive research on claims for new, limited-edition formulas 
• Work with Product Development Manager to learn shade matching and approval process 
• Assist in creating arm swatches, on model and swatch videos for Marketing Bulletins 
• Assist team in preparing hand samples and fulfilling comp requests for all Specialty launches 
• Assist team in purchasing competitive products and placing orders on Nu Order for all Specialty launches 
• Maintain and organize product closets 

Requirements:

• Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree  
• Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized 
• Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented 
• Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment 
• Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
