JOB SUMMARY
The QC Lab Technician is responsible for a variety of analytical and physical testing deliverables: Sensory, Viscosity, pH, SpG, Hardness, FTIR, and refractive index. They will work in the QC Physical Lab testing bulk and raw materials against specification.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- You will perform physical-chemical testing on Raw Materials utilizing USP and/or SAI methods.
 - You will perform physical-chemical testing on bulk samples utilizing USP and/or SAI methods.
 - You will bring and implement new ideas and innovations to the lab to improve efficiency.
 - You will assist with assigned projects to completion and to committed deadlines.
 - You will communicate effectively with lab personnel and within the Quality department.
 - You will work independently to compile testing data, interpret, and make sound judgment of the data, and notify the results to supervisor/manager.
 - You will document all raw data and observations in notebooks or equivalent electronic system as per Good Documentation Practices.
 - You will perform testing such as Sensory, Viscosity, pH, SpG, Hardness, FTIR, RI.
 - You will assist in the development of new or improved test methods.
 - You will perform QC calibration and checks.
 - You will maintain laboratory associated paperwork.
 - You will conduct laboratory investigation (OOS) as necessary.
 - You will stock laboratory supplies.
 - You will perform data entries, prepare documents, and manage any administrative duties as needed.
 - You will dispose of all laboratory waste properly.
 - You will maintain a safe and clean lab environment.
 - You will conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
 - You will perform equipment calibration and maintenance.
 - You will perform other related duties as assigned.
 
WHO YOU ARE
- You have a High School Diploma or GED equivalency required
 - You have two years or more working in pharmaceutical GMP manufacturing facility in a Quality Control Laboratory, GLP or related capacity and knowledge of cGMP preferred

The hourly rate for this position may vary based on geographic location. Pay is based on several factors including knowledge, education, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package, including a discretionary annual bonus in addition to a full range of benefits.
