JOB SUMMARY
An Associate Specialist in Product Integrity will be responsible for performing stability studies of all internal and external developed formulas provided by the Formulation, Pilot and Contract Manufacturing groups. Key duties include data review, instrumental analysis, stability summary reports in addition to other projects/tasks designated by management.
Each employee is expected to work independently as part of a team and oversee a safe and orderly laboratory environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- You will conduct core support testing, including stability set up, sample testing (sensory and instrumental), data reporting, and results communication / consultation with appropriate teams according to AIC internal guidelines and Gate System.
- You will collaborate with other specialists and management to ensure stability ratings are aligned.
- You will maintain a stability tracker and pull samples for evaluation in a timely manner.
- You will maintain complete and accurate data records.
- You will alert questionable observations and/or out of spec data to management, formulators, CM, and Pilot Engineer.
- You will assist in the storage and management of stability retain samples.
- You will act as a team player working with all R&D Groups to achieve project results.
- You will understand, follow, and adhere to project objectives and timelines by project. Track project timelines to ensure targets are achieved.
- As required, you will participate in the process improvement reviews with cross-functional teams & implement changes relevant to area of operation.
- You will complete routine maintenance of relevant instrumentation.
- Any additional responsibilities assigned by management.
WHO YOU ARE
- You have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or equivalent science with 1-3 years relevant on-the-job experience.
- You are a detail-oriented individual.
- You have strong organization, prioritization, and communication skills (verbal / written)
- You are motivated and work well in teams and independently.
- You can work on projects independently and take extra steps to get the job done.
- You can manage multiple projects with competing dates.

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as components of a total compensation package, including participation in our bonus program which features the ability to overachieve, in addition to a full range of competitive benefits.
