Key Account Executive (Sephora & Shiseido Brands)

Job Summary:

Drive cross channel gross to net retail sales growth and achieve plan across all categories in the BPG division. Lead relationships with all cross-functional teams internally and with your account teams to build the marketing calendar, programs and strategy to achieve the gross, net and retail sales plans for the organization.  Achieve all budgets.  Liaison between field sales and sell-in teams to flow organized communication.

  • Manage Stock & Sales Plan

Long Term Strategy

  • Build 2 - 3 year Retail Sales Strategy w/Marketing, Finance & Sales
  • Ensure Launch Cadence Meets Long Term Retail & Gross Sales Objectives
  • Recommend Data Driven Visual Merch Edits that Drive Sales
  • Improve Account Profitability
  • Market Share Growth Focus

Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders:

  • Maintain cross-functional relationships with all merchant, .com, planning, EDU and marketing teams across each category:  skin, fragrance & color
  • Maintain Bi-Weekly TB’s w/Directors and/or Merchants on State of the Business & Long Term Business Strategy
  • Lead strong relationships cross functionally within the Shiseido organization, across all categories:  skin, fragrance & color

Financial Accountability

  • Responsible for achievement of all gross, net and retail sales plans across each category
  • Trade spend, returns, and markdown budget achievement across each category
  • Tracking of ROI on all company expenditures

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Minimum of 5 years wholesale experience, preferably in the cosmetic industry
  • Strong relationship skills; ability to lead and manage multiple high level relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to build cross category & cross channel gross to net and retail sales plans from the bottom up
  • Understanding of market share
  • Elevated understanding of competitive landscape across all three categories:  fragrance, skin care and color cosmetics.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to personally organize and set priorities and adhere to budgets.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint
