Job Summary:

Fragrance Specialist interacts with customers to meet their needs related to fragrances. They explain different fragrances in helping the customer come to a decision to purchase. Once decision is made the Fragrance Specialist retrieves product from inventory & takes payment.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greets & interacts with customers.
• Consults with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to fragrances.
• Demonstrates and explains fragrances, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customers needs.
• Answers customers questions about the fragrances.
• Assists customer with purchase decisions
• Retrieves products from sales floor or stock room.
• Collects payment using the store point of sale system.
• Processes returns and exchanges.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders:

• Work with Management Team in store.
• Work with Executive Team/Training Department within the company.
• Create relationships with top sellers within the store & the personal shopping team.

Financial Accountability

• At times responsible to open & close the counter ensuring the correct amount of money is in the register.
• Responsible for closing sales, taking payment from customers, & returning change is necessary.

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent active listening skills.
• Ability to recommend products to customers.
• Ability to operate or quickly learn stores point of sale system.
