Associate Manager, Events & Education (NARS)

Location: New York, New York Brand: NARS Date: 09/09/2022

The Associate Manager, Education and Events will facilitate education and event initiatives in the US. These initiatives will drive sales, build brand equity, and attract and engage in-store consumers and the US Sales Field.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze US event data to create successful retailer-specific event initiatives
  • Compile events from the Field and maintain the Master Event Listing each season
  • Design and source vendors to produce event collateral and engagement tools for each launch or ‘always-on’ core item focus timeframes
  • Create programs for, and manage logistics of, Events in a Box for open-sell retailers 
  • Assist in managing event and TOA budgets 
  • Gather competitive information on events within the industry 
  • Participation in key events when necessary
  • Facilitate artwork requests for event signs, collateral, email and social templates, etc. 
  • Responsible for maintaining current listings of events on NARS Events page on narscosmetics.com
  • Forecast, strategize, and coordinate logistics for gratis programs across department store and open-sell accounts 
  • Support with the Seasonal Training Planner and gratis for the US Field Team 
  • Support with script-writing and logistics for ULTA Daily Micro Training video shoots 
  • Assist in coordination, planning, and logistics of large-scale Education events and workshops including US Education & Artistry Summit, Excellence in Artistry, Sephora SLC, ULTA FLC, etc. 

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Strategic, creative and innovative thinking  
  • Must be organized, self-motivated and flexible 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently and accurately
  • Ability to partner with multiple departments and create strong relationships
  • Initiative to anticipate business needs and the ability to problem-solve
  • Previous Beauty experience and passion for the Beauty industry 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Beauty Events and/or Education & Training is a plus
