Role Overview:

The Associate Manager, Digital Marketing is part of the Digital Marketing and Creative Strategy team across two brands, Shiseido and Cle de Peau Beaute. The role assists in the creation of multi-channel campaigns across email, site marketing, programmatic, paid search, paid social, display, and affiliates. The role helps develop and communicate digital marketing plans, campaign results, and project recommendations.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the execution of always on digital marketing and content strategy
  • Author business-as-usual (BAU) briefs for always on organic and paid media, promotions, retailers, and influencer optimized media assets, manage the development of these assets and ensure final delivery of best-in-class assets
  • Partner with in-house creative team and agencies to ensure best in class content is created for all digital channels
  • Liaise with channel marketing teams to ensure retailer presence is consistent and all content needs are met
  • Organic social media reporting and KPIs
  • Ensure assets are delivered on time to appropriate teams
  • Work with media agency on creative mapping to media plan
  • Traffic full suite of creative assets to media agency to meet requirements of media plans
  • Relationship management: Establish close, positive working relationships with key stakeholders across cross-functional teams to understand their digital marketing content needs and deliver assets that meet those needs
  • Supports content briefing and creation for media, e-comm, digital campaigns and channel marketing (80-90 briefs per year)
  • Admin support: invoice coding, ordering product, supporting shoot production (tracking estimates, usage guides), coordinating product shipping, messengers etc.
  • Creative design support: File management and organization: supporting organization on Box, meta data of files, searching for and uploading content
  • Supports campaign brief writing for larger programs – insights research, competitive research, etc.
  • Supporting liaison to content creation partners, i.e.., Pixelette, Vidmob, etc
  • Monitors and shares evolving best practices and performance with design team
  • Liaises with PM, media, ecommerce, and channel teams to ensure asset delivery on time (in collaboration with project management team)

Qualifications:

  • 3 years digital marketing experience in-house at a brand or at a digital creative agency
  • Beauty/Fashion industry experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing platforms and best practices
  • Understanding of the intersection of media and creative
  • Proficiency in all office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or Keynote)
  • Collaborative work style and presence across audiences (disciplines and seniority levels), including strong organizational and customer management skills
  • Smart, creative thinker with a sense of humor and excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Extreme attention to detail, organizational skills, and process
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to work with limited direction and some autonomy
  • Extremely solution-oriented, proactive problem-solver
