Associate Manager, Content & Community (Drunk Elephant)

Job Summary:

Work closely with the Social Media team the Associate Manager, Content & Community will be a key driver in the social storytelling around Drunk Elephant’s philosophy, core franchises, and foster our amazing community on TikTok and Instagram. 


This role will be responsible for maintaining a content calendar on TikTok and Instagram Reels to support core products, new launches, and global retail expansion, as well as ideating new content pillars around emerging trends. The right person for this opportunity will have demonstrated a record of successful and engaging social media content, experience video editing, and managing a community. Our ideal candidate is a creative self-starter who lives for the next social trend, possesses exceptional communication skills, and detail oriented.  

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Support the social media team in developing a TikTok + Reels social strategy to build community and boost brand awareness
  • Maintain a content calendar to support core products, new launches, global markets, and retail partner needs
  • Conceptualize, produce, edit, and publish socially native video content 
  • Own caption writing and hashtag strategy adhering to TikTok best practices
  • Engage with community, capture trending moments, and respond to comments and DMs in a timely manner
  • Research platform best practices, creator communities, and emerging trends
  • Analyze content and campaign performance

Qualifications & Competencies: 

  • 2+ years’ experience in social media, content, or influencer marketing 
  • Previous TikTok content creation experience 
  • Experience filming, editing, and writing for social media channels 
  • Effective multi-tasker who works well with cross-functional teams 
  • A strong verbal and written communicator 
  • Passionate about social media trends
  • Understands TikTok and Instagram analytics 
  • Bachelor’s degree
