Job Summary:

As a Marketing intern at Shiseido, you will have the opportunity to work in various areas within our multiple brands. The marketing intern role supports our Brand Managers and other Marketing executives on projects directed at maximizing company profits, developing sales strategies and marketing campaigns. As an intern, you will also gain a holistic view of the organization through networking, professional development, and interacting with other departments.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Trade Marketing

  • Support and liaise with Brand Managers by reviewing launch plans and marketing calendars
  • Keep an updated and detailed follow-up database for all animations, corresponding budgets and tracking costs
  • Distribute brand assets, updated retail design books & merchandising guidelines to Retail Managers and retailers

Administrative Support

  • Manage and improve the Marketing team’s on-line shared file access (Brand Development initiative)
  • Support the creation and follow-up of PO’s and invoices
  • Assist Brand Managers with forecast of POS materials, mockups, lab samples, uniforms, etc. for the Miami office
  • Create and track shipment of marketing materials
  • Receive and sort office orders
  • Provide daily assistance across multiple projects, initiatives, and tactical needs with the ability to quickly flex and take on new projects through various stages of planning and implementation
  • UPS shipments

Social Media/eRetail

  • Social Media Support- help create and distribute all assets to internal teams and retailers
  • Update all E-Com/ BEC files for all brands
  • Provide and ensure digital assets are updated on e-commerce sites throughout the year and during launch periods

Merchandising

  • Assist with requests and follow-up of semi personalized POSM local production (tester holders, repletes, grids, pushers, chairs etc.)
  • Track TR marketing POSM (office inventory)
  • Request visual updates & follow-up on installation logistics

Miscellaneous/Ad Hoc

  • Other duties or projects as assigned

Qualifications & Competencies

  • High School Diploma
  • A strong interest in the beauty industry
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferred
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, preferred
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Ability to work in a multicultural, international environment
